Kpalimé is located at approximately 1h30 road of Lome and is in a natural environment of any beauty. We are in the heart of the area of the coffee and the cocoa.

The mount of Agou: The most top of Togo, the Agou Mount, is between Amoussoukope and Kpalimé. This mountain of 986m is covered with dense forests and is strewn with small Ewe villages.
Paths furrow the mountainside and the energetic walkers climb until the top.

However it is not necessary to go, because a good road curves until the top.
At the top, the reward is the same one: the spectacular panorama of the valleys and the plains downwards.

Individually, in groupings or at craft ceneters, these artisans produce a wide range of pieces including woodcarving, macrame, batik, pottery. Weaving is also very wide spread with the famous kente cloth.

Kpalimé is the most significant artisanal center of the country.
Many artists and craftsmen settled in the area and opened their workshops and shops a little everywhere in the city.
One will discover batik, woodcarving there, of weaving, the work of the water-bottle…

The artisanal center of Kloto: Created in 1967; the artisanal Center of Kloto, close to Kpalimé has a double role. It is the center of production of a large variety of artisanal articles: woodcarvings, pottery, batiks and macramés; it is also a school where young apprentices can acquire knowledge of art.
The variety and the quality of the sculptures are astonishing, one finds there carved statues, boxes, armchairs and animals (elephants, gazelles…). The pottery is another speciality of this center. Batiks dyed with the hand, manufactured thanks to the process of wax form as part of the articles as one can find there. The women weave the textiles with the colors sharp which represent traditional African reasons of the life in the village and the togolese history |

It is also a festival during which in old times people prepared some mets with the products of cultures for Gods and the manes of the ancestors. It is celebrated each year 1st Saturday of the month d' August with Kpalimé. |

Gbagba-Za (harvest festival of Ewé in Agou region). It is cultural and religious festival of Ewe from Agou. Several divinities revolve around this demonstration whose Gbagba godness constitutes one of the showpiece. It is the same for Apetofia, one of the venerated divinities of the forests, the plains and the mountains of Agou. It leaves once year under appearance of a true deer in large parade to return visit to his. The Gbagba festival is celebrated 1st Saturday of the month of August with the differents places of the prefecture. |

The monastery of Dzogbégan: The monks Benedictines introduced into the area various cultures of which variety of coffee “robusta”. They just like transform and market many of their products as the bénédictines of the close monastery: yoghourt, jams, gasolines natural.
Church: Circular churchof wood, surmounted d' a conical roof. This vault was entirely built with local materials.
